巴利語匯解&巴利新音譯 瑪欣德尊者
satta:眾生。又譯作有情。“satta”的原意為執著、執取。如《清凈道論》中說:
“有情者,以欲貪對色等諸蘊執著、執迷為有情。如世尊這樣說:‘拉塔,若對色欲求、貪愛、喜歡、渴愛、執著、執迷,所以稱為有情。若對受……想……行……識欲求、貪愛、喜歡、渴愛、執著、執迷,所以稱為有情。’(S.3.161)”(Vm.256)
佛教常用有情表示一切擁有命根的生命。
