Sāsana,【中】教學,指示,資訊,教義,文字。sāsanakara,sāsanakārī,sāsanakāraka,【形】遵從自己的指示或教學的。sāsanantaradhāna,【中】佛教的消失。sāsanahara,【陽】報信者。sāsanavacara,【形】遵守教規的。aṅgavasena navavidhaṁ﹑navaṅgaṁ satthu sāsanaṁ (naṅangaṁ-buddha-sāsanaṁ;梵navāṅga-wāsana)﹐九分教:修多羅(sutta契經)、祇夜(geyya)、受記(veyyākaraṇa記別)、伽陀(gāthā偈誦)、優陀那(udāna因緣)、伊帝目多迦(itivuttaka(梵itivrttaka)如是語)、闍陀伽(jātaka本生)、毗佛略(vedalla(梵vaipulya)方廣)、阿浮陀達磨(abbhutadhamma希法)等為九部(《善見律毗婆沙註》及《長部經註》)。後有「十二分教」的成立。Tathāgatavacanaṁ (CS:DA.1.pg.1.25) Suttanti veditabbaṁ. Evaṁ aṅgavasena navavidhaṁ.(如來所說:應知是‘修多羅’;一切附偈的經應知是應知是‘祇夜’;應知是‘受記’;法句、長老偈、長老尼偈、經集、應知是‘伽陀’;應知是‘優陀那’;應知是‘伊帝目多迦’;應知是‘闍陀伽’;應知是‘方廣’;應知是‘阿浮陀達磨’。1.修多羅(sutta契經)--是結集義,為原始結集的通稱。2.祇夜(geyya)--偈頌。結集後不久,由於文體的類別,分化為二︰稱長行部分為「修多羅」,大致與《雜阿含經》的「蘊誦」、「六處誦」、「因誦」、「道品誦」相當。稱偈頌部分為「祇夜」,與「八眾誦」相當。這是「相應教」的核心,原始結集部分。在固有的「修多羅」與「祇夜」外,又有長行與偈頌,集出流行。長行部分,以分別、解答為主,稱為「記說」。這是對於「修多羅」及「祇夜」(通稱),以分別或解答方式,而闡明佛法的意義。在問答、分別中,顯示、決了深秘教證(佛法本質問題)的特性,逐漸表達出來。這一部分,附編於「相應教」中,與《雜阿含經》弟子所說、如來所說分相當。《雜阿含經》集三部分而成,與「九分教」中的「修多羅」、「祇夜」、「記說」的次第成立,完全吻合。這所以雜阿笈摩,被稱為「一切事相應教」的根本。3.受記(veyyākaraṇa記別)--廣問答的《滿月大經》、《帝釋所問經》、《六凈經》;廣分別體的《梵網經》、《沙門果經》等,在聖典自身,都是稱為「記說」的。阿毘達摩也歸屬此類。4.伽陀(gāthā偈頌)--「伽陀」是以偈頌,宣說法要(除「祇夜」、「優陀那」以外)的通稱。從古代的傳誦來說,大致與《小部》、《經集》中的〈義品〉、〈波羅延拏品〉、〈蛇經〉、〈陀尼耶經〉、〈犀角經〉、〈牟尼偈〉等相當。這類傳誦廣而影響大的法偈,當時已有類集(與現存的當然有多少距離),但始終不曾集入四部、四阿含中。5.優陀那(udāna因緣)--以感興語為主的法句。前五支,重於形式的分類,內容是重於法義的。6.伊帝目多迦(itivuttaka如是語、本事)--只是傳聞的佛說如是,或集出傳聞如是的法義,或集出傳聞如是的先賢的善行盛德)。7.闍陀伽(Jātaka本生)--結合過去人事與現在人事,而成前後因果系。8.阿浮陀達磨(abbhutadhamma希法)--「方廣」是深廣義,「希法」是奇特事。如︰《有明小經》(M.44.Cūḷavedalla)、《有明大經》(M.43.Mahāvedalla)、《正見經》(M.9.Sammādiṭṭhi)、《帝釋所問經》(D.21.Sakkapañha)、《?經》(Saṅkhārabhājaniya)、《滿月大經》(M.109.Mahāpuṇṇamasutta),sabbepi vedañca tuṭṭhiñca laddhā laddhā pucchitasuttantā.9.毗佛略(Vedalla方廣、毗陀羅)--法義的闡述更廣,成為更有體系的說明,與舊有的「記說」,不大相合。 (節錄自《中華佛教百科全書(二)p.110.1-2)。

sāsana,(lit.'message'):the Dispensation of the Buddha,the Buddhist religion; teaching,doctrine.

Navaṅga-buddha (or satthu)-sāsana,the ninefold Dispensation of the Buddha (or the Master) consists of Suttas Sutta),mixed prose (geyya),exegesis (veyyākaraṇa),verses (gāthā),solemn utterances (udāna),sayings of the Blessed One (itivuttaka),birth stories (jātaka),extraordinary things (abbhutadhamma),and analysis (vedalla).This classification is often found in the Suttas (e.g.M.22).According to the commentaries,also the Vinaya and the Abhidhamma Piṭaka are comprised in that ninefold division (see Aṭṭhasālinī Tr.,I,33).It is a classification according to literary styles,and not according to given texts or books.
