Mahāpanāda:1.Mahāpanāda. Son of Suruci and king of Mithilā.He owned a palace one hundred storeys high,all of emerald; it was one thousand bow-shots (twenty five leagues) high and sixteen broad and held six thousand musicians.

Mahāpanāda was a previous birth of Bhaddaji.See the Mahāpanāda Jātaka and also Kosalā.See also Sankha (3).
